PROJECT CONSULTANT

 

Salary: £17k – £25k PA

 

We are an extremely successful firm that deals with anti-money laundering and business risk projects for blue chip clients on an international basis. We work from a stunning rural location just outside Marlborough.

 

We are looking to recruit an exceptional individual to join our highly skilled team.

 

You will be a graduate (but we are also open to hearing from applicants who feel their particular skills and experiences outweigh their academic record). Working in a team of seven/eight people, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed research and investigations together with writing client reports on individuals and companies on a global basis.

 

You will need a high degree of accuracy, an inquisitive mind and the ability to obtain and analyze research findings. You should have a passion for writing and presenting ideas and be able to take responsibility for your work product. We are committed to the ongoing training and development of our team members.

 

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have foreign language skills or have experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) KYC work.

 

Salary Range: £17,000 – £25,000 PA depending on experience.

 

Hours are Monday to Friday 0900-1700.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Conducting and commissioning market research on behalf of clients
  • Brainstorming with members of our team and client on creative new campaign initiatives
  • Successful management and implementation of client PR and AR campaigns
  • Design and implement successful Social Media campaigns in the tech sector
  • Research and writing press releases and features
  • Overseeing client briefings with our internal writers on features, storyboards, White Papers etc.
  • Organising press conferences, webinars, events and promotions
  • Collating and analysing media coverage
  • Preparing media distribution lists for press releases
  • Pitching news stories and features to appropriate media
  • Organising and attending international press tours, round-table briefings and launches
  • Preparation of regular PR campaign progress reports and conduct client reviews
  • Participate in new business pitches and undertake research for client proposals
  • Developing and managing the process for possible crisis PR scenarios
  • Building positive working relationships and liaising with colleagues, clients and the international media

 

Previous experience in information technology PR plus existing relationships with international business/technology press coupled with strong language skills would be a definite advantage.

You must be passionate about helping the company to grow from strength to strength.

Working in a fast paced role dealing with current technology and writing press releases on all the latest technical products!

International travel will be involved!

You will be working to deadlines so must remain calm and professional under pressure.

My client is a manufacturing company specialising in their field and are based in Membury Business Park. In the UK they sell their products to a wide variety of installers including, security companies, metal fabrications and fencing contractors who provide entrance security systems to their domestic and industrial/commercial customers. Essentially they are a product distribution operation.

They are looking to recruit a Technical Support Executive based in their Membury Offices.

The main function of the role:

  • You will be reporting to the Technical Manager
  • You will primarily be responsible for providing telephone support for their installing customer, inspecting and testing and possibly repairing technology components that their customers may need assistance with.
  • You will be working as part of a team of 6 technical support executives across the UK.
  • You will be an all-rounder and be prepared to help out in other areas of the business when required
  • You will become an expert in the workings and programming of all their technology being able to offer advise installing the product to customers via the telephone
  • You will be able to identify and solve problems
  • You will be able to inspect, test and repair hydraulic and electromechanical motors, control panels and other technology components that are sent back to them by their installing customers
  • To be able to assist in other parts of the business as required

Key Skills Required:

  • A sound knowledge of electrics and basic electronics, without the need for formal qualifications
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong questioning and communication skills with a calm and patient telephone manner
  • Possesses a natural mechanical engineering interest and you enjoy getting your hands dirty
  • You must be highly motivated and organised and be able to work unsupervised and part of a team
  • You must be flexible and remain to keep your sense of humour when under pressure.

Office hours are initially Monday to Friday 8.30 to 1730.

Salary is based up to 25K PA depending on experience.

This position is available due to someone leaving and moving away from the area and the ideal start date would be December 2016.
